"Christmas Morning"

 Christmas Eve:

This year our Christmas Eve celebration occurred on December 20th. The kids had school all day, Cruz had a basketball game and then in the evening, we got ice cream and drove around to look at Christmas lights in one of our favorite neighborhoods.

We did separate experience gifts this year rather than a family experience. Cora got tickets to see the Broadway musical Aladdin when it comes to Sarasota in January plus a coupon to get a set of acrylic nails something she's been asking for for a full year. This gift made her cry!

The boys and Roger are heading to Chicago for a Chicago Bulls v. Golden State Warriors game in mid January.

A new pool basketball hoop rounded out Christmas at our house! We had a cinnamon roll/bacon breakfast and played with our new stuff for most of the day. In the evening, we headed to the airport to begin our Illinois Christmas trek!

Roller Skate ornament for her birthday party. She also got a Pancake ornament from Grammy & Grammy since one of her fav things to do is make pancakes with Grammy.

This guy has been working hard in the weight room this year so it's only fitting that he got a weight ornament from us. He received a powdered donut ornament from G&G.

Our basketball lover got a basketball hoop ornament. He received a cell phone ornament from G&G to commemorate receiving a phone this year.

This seems like a sweet picture but the reality is that the boys were giving Cora a hard time for putting all her ornaments in a cluster on the "front" of the tree. ;)

Santa 2022:

One of my favorite annual traditions!

Main Street Parade:

Cora danced in the Sarasota Main Street parade with her dance team. Roger and I went to Cruz's band and choir concert that night so unfortunately we didn't get to see her live but she had a blast with her friend Grace and the rest of her team!

Our little trumpeter was chosen for a special small group piece.

UTC Art Board:

Cora was part of a group of SCS elementary school students who painted a Christmas board throughout the month of October to be displayed in local mall/shopping area throughout the Christmas season. The
group met up one evening to see their work on display, pray together and sing the doxology. Afterwards, we enjoyed the Christmas festivities with friends.

Middle School Christmas Social:

Cruz had a blast at the middle school social. He had fun with his friends and the middle schoolers ended up raising over $1500 for Toys for Tots through the event!

A DIY Christmas Musical:

The elementary school put on a fun Christmas musical. The speaking roles and solos all went to the 5th graders so Coco was a part of the ensemble choir. They did a great job and Coco had a lot of fun with her "costume."
