Cruz's 3rd Birthday Party

We wanted our special little boy to have a special birthday party and he most definitely did. We decided to do his party at the Playfort this year. Rowan had his 2nd birthday party there. Cruzy had 9 friends there to celebrate with him (three of his classmates from school) plus his brother and sister. He got a giant donut instead of a cake and had a blast running and playing for two hours straight.

The boys set the table (with a little direction). They were so excited to have made a pattern with the hats.

party#9
The party was from 9-11am so instead of cake we served donuts. It was so nice and easy. :)

I love the way the kids crowd around each other during present opening. I could barely see Cruz through all his excited friends. Now, the countdown is on til his actual birthday... 5 days to go!

Thank You GeeGee!

Cruz was so excited to find a package in the mail. We had just gotten home and both boys kicked their shoes off (you can seem them in the pictures, ha).

Happy 6 Months!

We had a fabulous time celebrating 6 months of life for our little Cora today.

#1
She is blessed with amazing big brothers.

#2
Her other big brother was so upset that it wasn't his turn to hold and help her that he was crying in his room during her present opening. :)

#4
Cora loves to squawk... LOUDLY. Its adorable. She always seems to be especially loud and squawky during church which always brings chuckles from the people around us.

#6
I love her chubby cheeks and her expression in this one. Its a classic Cora expression as she's watching something intently. This time she was watching Cooper roll all over the carpet but its usually her brothers that capture her attention. She loves them as much as they dote on her.

#7
Cora is still sleeping the same as she was at 2 months, haha.... 7:00 to 7:00 with a middle of the night bottle. She sucks the bottle down so quickly that I know she still needs to eat so I don't mind getting up with her. Besides, she's literally up for 10 minutes.

#11
We think she's just the most beautiful little thing. Cora doesn't have to go back to physical therapy since she's doing so well with her neck. I am just praying she continues to do well.

#12
Cora loves all the different types of baby food we've offered her EXCEPT for green beans. We recently started giving her a little bit of yogurt to help with her thrush and she loves that too.

#14
Cora is working hard on her sitting. She can sit for about 10 seconds or so on her own but I have a feeling within the next month she's going to become an expert.

#18
These past six months have flown by and I would be perfectly okay if these next six don't go quite as fast. WE LOVE YOU, CORA!

Cuties

cora3-20#2
I could just eat her up! She's such a little ray of sunshine around here.

cora3-20
We ended up taking Coco to a chiropractor and its ended up helping her neck issues immensely! I think the combination of that, therapy exercises and her getting stronger have really helped her.

I can't believe she's going to be 6 months next week! She's not sitting yet, like her brothers were at this age. That's okay with me though... I'm enjoying every bit of baby-ness knowing that it won't last much longer.

Just like her Mama!

We got both boys' progress reports from preschool this week and I was definitely a proud mom after reading through them. It seems that both of our boys love math and have a gift with numbers.

For some reason this video is pretty grainy but I love the look on his face while everyone is singing. :)

I dont think I ever posted this video of Rowan and his tball team (the A's) at LL Opening Day. Its hard to see on the video but I promise that it was adorableness overload as these 4-6 year olds were walking in waving their baseball caps.

There's your dose of randomness for today! :)

Week 11

Here's last week's picture of the kids all together. I try not to include anyone else in my weekly photo of them but I couldn't resist this one. So sweet.

The Dentist

Cruz had his first visit to the dentist the other day.

Big boy with no cavities!

Exchanging his tokens for toys. The kids can "earn" tokens by having a cavity free check up, wearing their shirt with the dentist's name, sitting still for x-ray's, etc.

It was an added bonus that Grammy happened to be here and got to join us for the big visit.

The Birthday Begins

It just so happened that multiple family members were planning on being in town at the same time. We decided that was the perfect opportunity for a little (early) third birthday celebrating with Cruz Emerson.

The birthday boy requested a fire truck theme.

My middle and my little :)

party#5
The excitement on his little face was so fun.

party#7
Cruz loved being sung to by his big brother.

party#8
It was so fun to shower Cruz with love and attention yesterday. I want to make sure that even though he's not the oldest or the youngest, that he always knows how special and necessary he is to our family. I know he felt that way yesterday. :)

party#9
He was so excited to eat his name.

party#11

party#13
A Leap Pad, just like Rowy's!

party#14
A baseball glove, just like Rowy's! Sense the theme?

party#16
A trampoline!!! The boys really wanted a huge trampoline but unfortunately, with the pool, this is about all we can fit in our yard.

party#15
My sweet, snuggly almost 3 year old.

I can't wait to continue celebrating our little Cruz. He still has a party at the Play Fort with his friends, his actual birthday, bringing a treat to school and more presents to look forward to.
