Random Things...

I was just getting my camera out today when the boys had this moment together so I didn't get a chance to change my settings or anything so its not the best picture but I LOVE the moment!

Rowan has been sweet lately. Last night he ran into the family room before getting tucked into bed by Daddy just to give me one more kiss. He says bless you when I sneeze, he says he's sorry when he hurts someone, he asks 'what happened?' when I seem upset and he constantly says, "I wuf you, Mommy." Oh, and yesterday, he didn't quite make it to the potty and he looked at me and said, "Its just an accident, Mommy." :-) I try to keep these things in mind when the tantrums start up.

Cruz looked angelic in his baptism outfit and since he only will wear it once, I decided to take a few more pictures of him in it. I hardly have any pictures of Rowan in his outfit and I'm sad about that... so I made up for it with Cruz. :-)

Tummy Time

Cruz gets the same ridge on his forehead that Rowan does when he's trying really hard. He was working hard during tummy time the other day. :-)

We LOVE Monsoon Season!

This afternoon after Rowan's nap, rain started to pour down so we did the obvious thing and ran outside to play!

This is the most hilarious thing ever... Cooper loves to jump and bite at the raindrops. Rowan and I watched him do this forever!

Rowan was not too happy about getting wet. This is the face he made when I asked him if he had fun in the rain.

This is probably my favorite shot. Cooper is looking SO hopefully at Rowan. He really wanted Rowan to run around with him.

Unfortunately for Cooper, Rowan preferred his perch on the bench under the overhang where he was safe and dry from the summer monsoon!

Chuck E Cheese

Rowan's 2nd birthday is tomorrow and Roger and I had planned for a while to take him to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. It turns out that Roger's grandpa and his wife Linda are still in town tomorrow and wanted to take us out for dinner. We decided to move Rowan's Chuck E Cheese celebration to tonight. This morning, we let Rowan open a few birthday gifts from family and guess what was in a card from Great Aunt Jill & Great Uncle Jim?!?! Yep, a Chuck E Cheese gift card. Perfect! :)

Rowan LOVED having everyone sing to him. For dinner later in the day we went to Red Robin and they sang happy birthday to him there too. He clapped his hands and had a big smile on his face.
