Coco Turns 3: Gifts

I have been slow to update lately. I literally have zero free time. Life is busy but good! :) We had a blast celebrating our beautiful little three year old last week. Thank you to all who showered her with gifts! Coco had the privilege of getting to open her gifts in front of many family members but for those who did not get the live show, hopefully these photos help! :)

Thank you so much GeeGee for the Target gift card and the stickers! Coco will definitely have fun going shopping and someone must have told you that Sophia is one of her favorite princesses. :) She wanted to put the gift card in her purse. She's planning to purchase some jewelry with it.

#007
Thank you Uncle Randy and Nicole!!! She was so excited about this magnetic dress up Ariel!

#008
And as you can imagine, she was just as excited about her new game.

#009
Thank you so much Great Aunt Jill & Great Uncle Jim!!!

She absolutely adored the super soft jammies and the DQ gift card but the Sophia Mermaid Doll was took the cake. Not only does Sophia light up but the doll can go in the bathtub and light up under water. My mermaid loving girl was over the moon about that! :)

I'll finish her birthday as soon as possible! :)

Coco Turns 3: Disneyland

Coco's third birthday celebration started off with a bang! On Saturday we made the 5.5 hour trek to Anaheim, California to celebrate with everyone's favorite mouse. Grampy and Grammy met us there to join in on the fun.

Coco's first birthday celebration was at the ESPN Zone. She got her name up on the sports ticker and everything. :)

The kids love Toon Town. This door has a pretend explosion when you try to open it! It was a favorite of the boys for sure.

Grammy, Coco and I split up from the boys for a little bit of girl fun. The first stop was the Carousel. Sweet Coco was so excited about this ride and picked out her horse about 15 minutes before she actually got on.

This pink and purple princess horse was her choice. :)

So much joy!

Me and my girl.

While Rog and the boys rode big kids rides, and Grampy went in search of some air conditioning, Grammy, Coco and I headed to Ariel's Grotto for lunch and some one on one time with the princesses.

First order of business was the meet the guest of honor, Ariel. Coco got to spend some time chatting with Ariel, giving her hugs and getting a special photo taken. Her face was priceless!

As we ate, the princesses were announced and walked near our table. We had the perfect spot up front and Cora lit up each time one of the princesses was announced. The gorgeous, huge smile on her face was something I won't forget. This is one of my favorite videos that captured that.

One last stop on the Ariel ride before heading back to meet up with the boys.

When we got back to Disneyland, Coco realized she hadn't met Snow White yet and wanted to do that so we went to the castle where you can meet some more princesses. As it turned out, the Belle and Cinderella in this location were the same ones from lunch. They remember Cora and personally escorted her to see the third princess in the castle, which happened to be Snow White. She felt so special.

Back with the boys we rode a few rides, watched the parade and got ready for some dinner. They had a blast on Buzz Lightyear, Star Tours, Autopia and a bunch of other rides.

After dinner we went on everyone's favorite ride, It's a Small World.

Roger and I got to go on a few rides while G & G watched the kids, then we headed back for some sleep. The next morning, we had one last birthday celebration for Coco at our hotel. She got to open a couple of her gifts from Grammy and Grampy and the hotel staff even had a special little gift bag for her.

My Big & Little

Cruz was still getting his shoes on and backpack packed so we had a few minutes the other morning to snap a pic of my big and my little. These two are sweet together. Although I'm already getting a little bored with Coco's uniforms, the plaid jumper gets me every time. :)

Labor Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing Labor Day weekend.  The kids had Friday off of school because us teachers went to an all day workshop, which I enjoyed.  On Saturday, we took the kids to see the movie Inside Out. We all loved it. It was the first time for the the five of us to go to the movies together.  Sunday, we went to church and ran errands. The boys came with me to get some stuff done at school while Coco stayed home and swam with Daddy.  On Monday, Roger decided to take the boys golfing.  He's wanted to do it for a while and there was a little cloud cover outside so he decided to go for it.  The boys had the best time... so did their daddy. :)

Rog said the only accurate score is his. Ha.

While the boys were golfing, I spent some quality time with my favorite girl. We had lunch at Chipotle and went grocery shopping. I'm so thankful for her company. She's growing into such a pleasant big girl who loves Chipotle as much as I do.

I can't believe she's almost 3! Wow.
